Abraahaamu kumaarudagu daaveedu kumaarudaina yaesu kreestu vamshaavalli.

The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

Abraahaamu issaakunu kanenu, issaaku yaakoabunu kanenu, yaakoabu yoodaanu atani annadmmulanu kanenu;

Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

Yoodaa taamaarunamdu peresunu, jerahunu kanenu;

And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

4

Peresu esroamunu kanenu,o esroamu araa munu kanenu, araamu ameemana aadaabunu kanenu, ameema naadaabu nayssoanunu kanenu;

And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;

Nayssoanu shlmaanunu kanenu, shlmaanu raahaabunamdu boayajunu kanenu, boayaju rootunamdu oabaedunu kanenu, oabaedu yeshshayini kanenu;

And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

Yeshshayi raajaina daaveedunu kanenu. Ooriyaa bhaaryagaanumdina aameyamdu daaveedu solomoanunu kanenu.

And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

Solomoanu rehabaamunu kanenu; rehabaamu abeeyaanu kanenu, abeeyaa aasaanu kanenu;

And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;

Aasaa yehoashaapaatunu kanenu, yehoashaa paatu yehoaraamunu kanenu, yehoaraamu ujjiyaanu kanenu;

And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;

9

Ujjiyaa yoataamunu kanenu, yoataamu aahaajunu kanenu, aahaaju hijkiyaanu kanenu;

And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;

10

Hijkiyaa manshshaenu kanenu, manshshae aamoanunu kanenu, aamoanu yoasheeyaanu kanenu;

And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

Yoodulu babuloanuku konipoabadina kaalamuloa yoasheeyaa yekonyaanu atani sahoadarulanu kanenu.

And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:

Babuloanuku konipoabadina taruvaata yekonyaa shayltee yaelunu kanenu, shaylteeyaelu jerubbaabelunu kanenu;

And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

13

Jerubbaabelu abeehoodunu kanenu, abeehoodu elyaa keemunu kanenu, elyaakeemu ajoarunu kanenu;

And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;

14

Ajoaru saadoakunu kanenu, saadoaku aakeemunu kanenu, aakeemu eleehoodunu kanenu;

And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;

15

Eleehoodu eliyaajarunu kanenu, eliyaajaru mttaanunu kanenu, mttaanu yaakoa bunu kanenu;

And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

16

Yaakoabu mariya bhrtayaina yoasaepunu kanenu, aameyamdu kreestu anabadina yaesu puttenu.

And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Itlu abraahaamu modalukoni daaveedu varaku taramu lnniyu padunaalugu taramulu. Daaveedu modalukoni yoodulu babuloanuku konipoabadina kaalamuvaraku padu naalugu taramulu; babuloanuku konipoabadinadi modalu koni kreestu varaku padunaalugu taramulu.

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

Yaesu kreestu jananavidha metlanagaa, aayana tlliyaina mariya yoasaepunaku pradhaanamu chaeyabadina taruvaata vaaraekamu kaakamunupu aame parishuddhaatmavalana grbhavatigaa umdenu.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Aame bhrtayaina yoasaepu neetimamtudaiyumdi aamenu avamaanaparachanollaka rahsyamugaa aamenu vidanaada uddaeshimchenu.

Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

Atadu ee samgatulanu goorchi aaloachimchukonuchumdagaa, idigoa prabhuvu doota svpnamamdu ataniki prtykshamai daaveedu kumaarudavaina yoasaepoo, nee bhaaryayaina mariyanu chaerchu konutaka

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

Tana prajalanu vaari paapamulanumdi aayanae rkshimchunu ganuka aayanaku yaesu2 anu paeru pettuduvanenu.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

22

Idigoa knyaka grbhavatiyai kumaaruni kanunu aayanaku immaanuyaelanu paeru pettuduru

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23

Ani prabhuvu tana pravktdvaaraa palikina maata neravaeru ntlu idamtayu jarigenu. Immaanuyaelanu paerunaku bhaashaamtaramuna daevudu manaku toadani arthamu.

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Yaasaepu nidramaelukoni prabhuvu doota tanaku aajnyaapimchina prakaaramuchaesi, tana bhaaryanu chaerchukoni

Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

Aame kumaa runi kanu varaku aamenu erugakumdenu; atadu aa kumaaruniki yaesu anu paeru pettenu.

And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
