My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;

Jnyaanamunaku nee cheviyoggi hrudayapoorvakamugaa vivaechana nbhyasimchinayedal
So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;

Telivikai morrrrapettinayedala vivaechanakai manavi chaesinayedal
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;

Vemdini vedakintlu daani vedakina yedala daachabadina dhanamunu vedakintlu daani vedakinayedal
If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

Yehoavaayamdu bhayabhktulu kaligiyumduta yettidoa neevu grahimchedavu daevunigoorchina vijnyaanamu neeku labhimchunu.
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

Yehoavaayae jnyaanamichchuvaadu teliviyu vivaechanayu aayana noatanumdi vchchunu.
For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

Aayana yathaarthavamtulanu vrdhillajaeyunu yuktamaargamu tppaka naduchukonuvaariki aayana kaedemugaa nunnaadu.
He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

Nyaayamu tppipoakumda aayana kanipettunu tana bhktula pravrtananu aayana kaachunu.
He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
[TSK]

Appudu neeti nyaayamulanu yathaarthatanu prati snmaargamunu neevu telisikomduvu.
Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.

Jnyaanamu nee hrudayamuna jochchunu telivi neeku manoaharamugaa numdunu
When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
[TSK]

Buddhi ninnu kaapaadunu vivaechana neeku kaavali kaayunu.
Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:

Adi dushtula maargamunumdiyu moorkhamugaa maatalaaduvaari chaetiloanumdiyu ninnu rkshimchunu.
To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;
[TSK]

Attivaaru cheekati troavalaloa naduvavalenani yathaartha maargamulanu vidichipettedaru
Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
[TSK]

Keeduchaeya samtoashimchuduru atimoorkhula pravrtanayamdu ullasimchuduru.
Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
[TSK]

Vaaru naduchukonu troavalu vamkaravi vaaru kutilavrtanul
Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:
[TSK]

Mariyu adi jaarstreenumdi mruduvugaa maatalaadu parstreenumdi ninnu rkshim chunu.
To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
[TSK]
17
Atti stree tana ¸°vanakaalapu priyuni viduchunadi tana daevuni nibamdhananu marachunadi.
Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.
[TSK]

Daani yillu mrutyuvunoddaku daariteeyunu adi nadachu troavalu praetalayoddaku chaerunu
For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.

Daaniyoddaku poavuvaariloa evarunu tirigi raaru jeevamaargamulu vaariki dkkavu. Naa maatalu vininayedal
None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.

Neevu sjjanula maargamamdu naduchukomduvu neetimamtula pravrtanala nanusarimchuduvu.
That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.

Yathaarthavamtulu daeshamamdu nivasimchuduru loapamulaenivaaru daaniloa nilichiyumduru.
For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.
[TSK]
22
Bhktiheenulu daeshamuloa numdakumda nirmoolamaguduru. Vishvaasaghaatakulu daaniloanumdi perikivaeyabaduduru.
But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
