But Job answered and said,

నా దుఃఖముH3708 చక్కగా తూచబడునుH8254 గాక దాని సరిచూచుటకై నాకు వచ్చిన ఆపదH1942 త్రాసులోH3976పెట్టబడునుH5375 గాక.

Oh that my grief were throughly weighed, and my calamity laid in the balances together!

ఆలాగున చేసినయెడల నా విపత్తు సముద్రములH3220 ఇసుకH2344కన్నH4480 బరువుగాH3513 కనబడును. అందువలనH5921 నేను నిరర్థకమైనH3886 మాటలుH1697 పలికితిని.

For now it would be heavier than the sand of the sea: therefore my words are swallowed up.

సర్వశక్తుడగుH7706 దేవుని అంబులుH2671 నాలో చొచ్చెనుH5978 వాటి విషమును నా ఆత్మH7307 పానముచేయుచున్నదిH8354 దేవునిH433 భీకరకార్యములుH1161 నాతో యుద్ధము చేయుటకైH6186 పంక్తులు తీరుచున్నవి.

For the arrows of the Almighty are within me, the poison whereof drinketh up my spirit: the terrors of God do set themselves in array against me.

Doth the wild ass bray when he hath grass? or loweth the ox over his fodder?

Can that which is unsavoury be eaten without salt? or is there any taste in the white of an egg?

The things that my soul refused to touch are as my sorrowful meat.

Oh that I might have my request; and that God would grant me the thing that I long for!

Even that it would please God to destroy me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off!

Then should I yet have comfort; yea, I would harden myself in sorrow: let him not spare; for I have not concealed the words of the Holy One.

Is not my help in me? and is wisdom driven quite from me?

క్రుంగిపోయినవాడుH4523 సర్వశక్తుడగు దేవునియందుH7706 భయభక్తులుH3374 మానుకొనిననుH5800 స్నేహితుడుH7453 వానికి దయచూపతగునుH2617.

To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend; but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty.

నా స్నేహితులుH251 ఎండిన వాగుH5158వలెనుH3644 మాయమైపోవుH5674 జలప్రవాహములవలెనుH5158 నమ్మకూడనివారైరిH898.

My brethren have dealt deceitfully as a brook, and as the stream of brooks they pass away;

Which are blackish by reason of the ice, and wherein the snow is hid:

What time they wax warm, they vanish: when it is hot, they are consumed out of their place.

వాటి నీళ్లు ప్రవహించుH1870దారిH734 త్రిప్పబడునుH3943, ఏమియులేకుండH8414 అవి యింకిపోవునుH6.

The paths of their way are turned aside; they go to nothing, and perish.

Did I say, Bring unto me? or, Give a reward for me of your substance?

Or, Deliver me from the enemy's hand? or, Redeem me from the hand of the mighty?

నాకుపదేశముH3384 చేయుడి, నేనుH589 మౌనినైయుండెదనుH2790 ఏ విషయమందుH4100 నేను తప్పిపోతినోH7686 అది నాకుతెలియజేయుడిH995.

Teach me, and I will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred.

యథార్థమైనH3476 మాటలుH561 ఎంతోH4100 బలమైనవిH4834 అయినను మీ గద్దింపుH3198 దేనికిH4100 ప్రయోజనముH3198?

How forcible are right words! but what doth your arguing reprove?

మాటలనుH4405 గద్దించుదమనిH3198 మీరనుకొందురాH2803?నిరాశగలవానిH2976 మాటలుH561 గాలివంటివేH7307 గదా.

Do ye imagine to reprove words, and the speeches of one that is desperate, which are as wind?

మీరు తండ్రిలేనివారినిH3490 కొనుటకైH5307 చీట్లువేయుదురు,మీ స్నేహితులH7453మీదH5921 బేరము సాగింతురుH3738.

Yea, ye overwhelm the fatherless, and ye dig a pit for your friend.

దయచేసిH2974 నావైపు చూడుడిH6437, మీ ముఖముH6440 ఎదుట నేను అబద్ధమాడుదునాH3576?

Now therefore be content, look upon me; for it is evident unto you if I lie.

అన్యాయముH5766 లేకుండH408 నా సంగతి మరలH7725 విచారించుడి మరలH5750 విచారించుడి, నేను నిర్దోషినిగాH6664 కనబడుదును.

Return, I pray you, let it not be iniquity; yea, return again, my righteousness is in it.

Is there iniquity in my tongue? cannot my taste discern perverse things?
