యాకోబు అధ్యాయము 2

Naa sahoadarulaaraa, mahimaasvaroopiyagu mana prabhuvaina yaesukreestunugoorchina vishvaasavishayamuloa moamaatamugalavaarai yumdakudi.

My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.

Aelaaganagaa bamgaaru umgaramu pettukoni prashsta vstramulu dharimchukonina yokadu mee samaajamamdiramuloaniki vchchinppudu,muriki bttalu kttukonina daridrudunu loapaliki vchchinayedal

For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;

Meeru prashsta vstramulu dharimchukoninavaanini choochi snmaanimchineevikkada mamchi sthalamamdu koorchumdumani cheppi, aa daridrunitoaneevkkada niluvumu, laeka ikkada naa paadapeethamunaku diguvanu koorchumdumani cheppinayedal

And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:

Mee manssulaloa bhaedamulu pettukonimeeru duraaloachanatoa vimrshachaesinavaaraguduru kaaraa?

Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

Naa priya sahoadarulaaraa, aalakimchudi; ee loaka vishayamuloa daridrulainavaarini vishvaasamamdu bhaagya vamtulugaanu, tnnu praemimchuvaariki taanu vaagdaanamuchaesina raajyamunaku vaarasulugaanu umdutaku daevu daerparachukonalaedaa?

Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

Ayitae meeru daridrulanu avamaanaparachuduru. Dhanavamtulu meemeeda kathinamugaa adhikaaramu choopuduru; mimmunu nyaayasabhalaku eedchu chunna vaaru veerae gadaa?

But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?

Meeku pettabadina shraeshthamaina naamamunu dooshimchuvaaru veerae gadaa?

Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?

Mettuku neevale nee poruguvaani praemimchumanu laekhanamuloa unntti praamukhyamaina yee aajnyanu meeru neravaerchinayedala baaguganae pravrtimchuvaaraguduru.

If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

Meeru pkshapaatamu galavaaraitae dhrmashaastramuvalana aparaadhulani teerchabadi paapamu chaeyuvaaraguduru.

But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

Evadainanu dhrmashaastra mamtayu gaikoniyu, oka aajnyavishayamuloa tppi poayinayedala, aajnyalnniti vishayamuloa aparaadhi yagunu;

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Vyabhicharimpavddani cheppinavaadu narahtyachaeya vddaniyu cheppenu ganuka neevu vyabhicharimpakapoayinanu narahtya chaesinayedala dhrmashaastravishayamuloa naparaadhi vaitivi.

For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

Svaatamtryamu ichchu niyamamu choppuna teerpupomdaboavuvaariki taginttugaa maatalaadudi; aalaagu nanae pravrtimchudi.

So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

Kanikaramu choopanivaadu kanikaramulaeni teerpu pomdunu; kanikaramu teerpunu mimchi atishaya padunu.

For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

Naa sahoadarulaaraa, kriyalu laenppudu evadainanu tanaku vishvaasamu kaladani cheppinayedala aemi prayoa janamu? Atti vishvaasamatani rkshimpagaladaa?

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

Sahoadaru dainanu sahoadariyainanu digambarulai aa naatiki bhoajanamulaeka yunnppudu.

If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

Meeloa evadainanu shareeramunaku kaavalasinavaatini iyyakasamaadhaanamugaa vellludi, chali kaachukonudi, truptipomdudani cheppinayedala aemi prayoajanamu?

And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

Aalaagae vishvaasamu kriyalulaenidaitae adi omtigaa umdi mrutamainadagunu.

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Ayitae okadu neeku vishvaasamunnadi, naaku kriyalunnavi; kriyalu laekumda nee vishvaasamu naaku kanuparachumu, naenu naa kriyalachaeta naa vishvaasamu neeku kanuparatunani cheppunu.

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Daevudokkadae ani neevu nmmuchunnaavu. Aalaagunmmuta mamchidae; dyyamulunu namima vanakuchunnavi.

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Vyrthudaa, kriyalulaeni vishvaasamu nishphalamainadani telisi konagoaruchunnaavaa?

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Mana pitarudaina abraahaamu tana kumaarudaina issaakunu balipeethamumeeda arpimchi nppudu atadu kriyalavalana neetimamtudani teerpu pomda laedaa?

Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

Vishvaasamu atani kriyalatoakoodi kaaryasiddhi kalugajaesenaniyu, kriyalamoolamugaa atani vishvaasamu paripoornamainadaniyu grahimchuchunnaavugadaa?

Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

Kaabtti abraahaamu daevuni nmmenu adi ataniki neetigaa emchabadenu anu laekhanamu neravaerchabadenu. Mariyu daevuni snaehitu dani ataniki paerukaligenu.

And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Manushyudu vishvaasamoolamuna maatramukaaka kriyala moolamunanu neeti mamtudani yemchabadunani, meeru deenivalana grahimchitiri.

Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Atuvalenae raahaabanu vaeshyakooda dootalanu chaerchukoni vaerokamaargamuna vaarini velupaliki pampivaesinppudu kriyalamoolamugaa neetimamturaalani yemchabadenu gadaa?

Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

Praanamulaeni shareeramaelaagu mrutamoa aalaagae kriyalu laeni vishvaasamunu mrutamu.

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
