This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

పరిశుద్ధG40 ప్రవక్తలG4396చేతG5259 పూర్వమందు పలుకబడినG4280 మాటలనుG4487, ప్రభువైనG2962 రక్షకుడుG4990 మీG2257 అపొస్తలులG652 ద్వారా ఇచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞనుG1785 మీరు జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనవలెననుG5280 విషయమునుG1722 మీకు జ్ఞాపకముచేసిG5280, నిర్మలమైనG1506 మీ మనస్సులనుG3415 రేపుచున్నానుG.

That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

అంత్యG2078 దినములలోG2250 అపహాసకులుG1703 అపహసించుచువచ్చిG2064, తమG848 స్వకీయG2398 దురాశలచొప్పునG1939 నడుచుకొనుచుG4198,

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

ఆయనG846 రాకడనుG3952 గూర్చినG1063 వాగ్దానG1860 మేమాయెను?G4226 పితరులుG3962 నిద్రించినదిG2837 మొదలుకొని సమస్తమునుG3956 సృష్టిG2937 ఆరంభమునG746నున్నట్టేG575 నిలిచి యున్నదే అని చెప్పుదురనిG3004 మొదటG746 మీరు తెలిసికొనవ

And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

ఏలయనగా పూర్వముG1597నుండి ఆకాశముండెG3772ననియుG2258, నీళ్లG5204లోG1223 నుండియుG2532 నీళ్లG5204వలననుG1537 సమకూర్చబడినG4921 భూమియుG1093 దేవునిG2316 వాక్యముG3056వలనG3588 కలిగెననియు వారు బుద్ధిపూర్వకముగాG2309 మరతురుG2990.

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

ఆG3588 నీళ్లవలనG5204 అప్పుG3739డున్నG1223 లోకముG2889 నీటివరదలోG2626 మునిగి నశించెనుG622.

Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

అయితేG1161 ఇప్పుడున్నG356 8 ఆకాశమునుG3772 భూమియుG1093 భక్తిహీనులG765 తీర్పునుG2920 నాశనమునుG684 జరుగు దినముG2250వరకు అగ్నికొరకుG4442 నిలువచేయబడినవైG5083, అదేG846 వాక్యముG3056వలన భద్రముG2343 చేయబడియున్నవి.

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

కొందరుG5100 ఆలస్యమనిG1022 యెంచుకొనునట్లుG2233 ప్రభువుG2962 తన వాగ్దానమునుG1860 గూర్చి ఆలస్యముG1019 చేయువాడు కాడుG3756 గాని యెవడునుG5100 నశింపవలెననిG622 యిచ్ఛG1014యింపకG3361, అందరుG3956 మారుమనస్సుG3341 పొందవలెనని కోరుచుG5562, మీ యెడలG2248 ధీర్ఘశాంతముగలవాడైG3114 యున్నాడు.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

అయిననుG1161 మనమాయనG846 వాగ్దానమునుG1862బట్టిG2596 క్రొత్తG2537 ఆకాశములG3772కొరకును క్రొత్తG2537 భూమిG1093కొరకును కనిపెట్టుచున్నాముG4328; వాటిG3739యందుG1722 నీతిG1343 నివసించునుG2730.

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

మనG2257 ప్రభువునుG2962 రక్షకుడునైనG4990 యేసుG2424క్రీస్తుG5547 అనుగ్రహించు కృపG5485యందునుG1722 జ్ఞానG1108మందునుG1722 అభివృద్ధిపొందుడిG837. ఆయనకుG846 ఇప్పుడునుG3568 యుగాంతదినము వరకును మహిమG1391 కలుగును గాక. ఆమేన్‌G281.

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
